I have a photo of morna taken in the early 1960's hanging in my dining room. she was owned at that time by a friend of my late father-in-law. my father-in-law used to sail her single handed !

When describing the bow, do your crew get confused when you describe it as the 'pointy' end?

Hi
i am also fortunate in having a peter dickie boat she was built at tarbert in 1922 and is called macaria. she is with out doubt a 36' version on morna even down to being painted black.i would welcome any information you may have on peter dickie and yard and the link to fairlies.
I found macaria in ireland and sailed her back via the west higlands and tarbert to her home in maldon in es*** in 2004 were she is being restored
hope to hear from you
best regards

ian lindsay
